In the summer of 2020, myself and a bunch of friends went camping to celebrate the end of the first lockdown in the Netherlands.
In typical Dutch tradition, we cycled six hours in the sun to get there. Unfortunately, the weather deteriorated rapidly and we were subjected to half a dozen types of rain all weekend long.
We fashioned a makeshift of shelter out of the one 3 x 2 meter tarp we had. It was no doubt a boy scout's worst nightmare, but that raggedy sheet of plastic made all the difference that weekend.
